Since its creation in July 2014, SeedLab’s missions have been divided into three business areas throughout the Novalliance Group : the coordination of seed quality testing, the development of analysis tools for the field and the conduct of R&D projects in seed technology.
Ensuring seed quality and health is essential to crop success. SeedLab offers a full testing to accurately assess seed potential:

SeedLab is a member of several UFS working groups: physical and germinative quality WG in the Vegetables and Flowers section; seed treatment WG and sanitary quality WG. Participation in these working groups allows us to exchange with experts, participate in discussions and orientations of the industry, participate in proficiency tests and be informed of technical and regulatory developments.
SeedLab has been an ISTA member since early 2016. The ISTA Rules contain standard methods and techniques to be used for seed analysis, which are internationally harmonized and regularly reviewed by the ISTA Technical Committees.
As such, our team regularly participates in ISTA events, including congresses and symposia to connect with seed experts from around the world and keep up to date on the latest advances in research in seed physiology and analysis. We participate in the ISTA proficiency testing program, which allows us to assess our technical performance and compare our results to the ISTA laboratory community.
